Mark Higgins is a Senior Consultant with RVK. In this role, he serves as lead or co-lead consultant on relationships for a variety of endowment, foundation, defined benefit, defined contribution, and public plans. Consulting relationships cover areas such as investment strategy development, asset allocation, asset class structure, and investment manager selection.
In addition to his consulting responsibilities, Mark is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and seminars offered by organizations such as Pension Bridge, the State Association of County Retirement Systems Conference (SACRS), and the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans (IFEBP). He commonly presents on the topic of Investment Committee Best Practices, based on a proprietary research study he led in 2015 and updated in 2017.
Mark graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Georgetown University with a BA degree in English and Psychology. He also holds an MBA from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia. Mark holds both the Certified Financial Planner and Chartered Financial Analyst designation. He is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Portland. Mark is a shareholder of the firm.
